Lucky us too because that means you are still going to have fun stash reports instead of paying for another car. I swear, your reports are more fun that any stores website! But seriously, I hope your car is fixed soon - perfect timing for it to break down though - before warranty expires and just after a full service. You are covered. Cheers! My little 2001 Ford Escort has 120,000 miles on it. Its had a new battery and tires. Brakes once. That's it. 36 mpg and runs great. Got a car new car with the same engine. I called Vince and was telling him and he said it's still one of the highest rated vehicles but like you, I'm not sure I would trust it again. I'm so sorry because I know you bought that vehicle partially because we did our research and bought one. Of course, ours only has 15K miles on it but still runs fine. So, we traded it in, got a good deal and left with a different car. The second car gave us no trouble at all and the old one...Well a mechanic at the shop bought it. The new engine seized within 6 months. That was the second engine of its short life that blew. And even the mechanic couldn't tell that this was going to happen ahead of time. I'm sure it wasn't a silly problem like oil. Some cars are just born to self-destruct.greelyritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11337031538589833151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22312109.post-11237634325751362352011-04-09T10:55:36.572-07:002011-04-09T10:55:36.572-07:00LOL the total hysterectomy made sense to me! I agree on purchases from FQS - they're always super fast and packaged nicely. Best yet, if I e-mail with a question before purchasing, they always respond nearly immediately. Never had that kind of service before, don't even get that kind of service from my local stores.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16567235687278496080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22312109.post-64425181593519113922011-04-09T08:02:02.686-07:002011-04-09T08:02:02.686-07:00I'm sorry your car is still in the shop - aarr...I'm sorry your car is still in the shop - aarrgghh!
