Six days, four blocks.  Definitely slowly progressing.

To steal a line from Aesop's The Tortoise and the Hare, "Slow and steady wins the race."

  11. Hurrah on your start on Brrr Park!! Isn't this design and the fabrics just lovely?

Like you, mine has been slated to be my winter bed quilt since I started it in 2009 but has sat layered and basted since 2010. Let's hope we both finish it up this year!

  14. These blocks are beautiful! I need to get my sewing room cleaned so I can get back in there. It became the dumping ground over the holidays...not a pretty sight! Kudos to you for progress!

  15. Oh, the blocks are so beautiful. I don't know who you can say you are slow.... you surely are on fire! Reminds me of the Alicia Keys song... "This girl is on Fy-year"
What a lovely way to start the new year.

  16. Slow progress or not, they're BEAUTIFUL! Love it... I've not made much progress in my sewing room the last couple of weeks, been down in the dumps for some reason, so been working on a binding while I watch TV. Need to get back with it, just about have the blocks done so I could piece the top together and get started on another one! Have a great day.
