  4. LOL! That's what I get for finding comfortable shoes and buying them in every available color!! You are not alone! :-D I think comfortable shoes are worth the risk, though, huh?

  5. LOL at least they're the same type of shoe! My daughter has decided matching socks are not to be done. EVER. I put out a matching pair every morning and she goes into her sock drawer and pulls out ones that are totally different!

Oh goodness....did you make it very far before noticing?

Can I tell you...I've actually gotten to the grocery store before with two same sandals...different colors!

  11. I did that once and the only reason I noticed when I did is because the heels were slightly different heights, so it felt funny when I walked. Can't remember if I caught it before or after work, but like you, it was due to accounting work stress!!!

  12. I did the same thing, leaving the house quickly for an on-call assignment. One blue pump with flower cut-outs, and one black alligator pump, about 1/2" difference in height. Didn't notice it until I was at the job.

  26. Oh, I hope you caught your shoes mix up before work. If not, I'm sure you carried it off with style and grace!

By the way, the total for yesterday? 9 1/2" of snow. We are all dug out and safe and sound here. :-)

  32. I once went to school in my slippers. Out the door into the garage, the car and as I stepped of the car at school only then did I realize it. Of course it was noticed right away. As each class came in that day I put one foot up on the desk and said "Yes, I wore my slippers...enough said" (sheepish grin firmly in place). For the next long while someone would remember, staff and students alike and remind me of the slipper day. See?? I'm still dining on that story and its been over 15 yrs.

  33. I've done the same thing - twice! And they weren't just ordinary days, one was the day of Parent Teacher's Conferences. It was about 3rd Hour when one of my students noticed it. Thanks goodness, my husband was able to bring a matched set before conferences that afternoon. The other time was at the annual Achievement Awards. I was sitting at the side of the gym with the other faculty members and looked down and saw two different shoes. I had to walk out in front of everyone to announce an award. Thank goodness I was wearing slacks. If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything.
