... if I were so inclined to order another BOM since All Things Christmas is almost done, I'd sure want to think about these I just spotted at The Fat Quarter Shop.
First, Blossom Time by Bunny Hill Designs. I think my heart stopped when I saw it. Wait, maybe that was the medication. Anyway, this thing is drop-dead gorgeous!! http://tinyurl.com/27kgdb. I mean, I can actually visualize it on my bed.
Then this popped onto Kimberly's site today. http://tinyurl.com/yumrqr This is called Birds and Bees, and uses that fabulous Dandelion Girl line by Fig Tree. I think that's a dynamite price for the monthly blocks, too. A whole lot of happiness for less than $19 a month. And wouldn't this be a great quilt for maybe a beginning appliquer!
I'm not going nuts here poking buttons. But, I mean, I'm just saying ....

Can I just say it along with you?
Oh oh! I'm just sayin' . . .
I agree, I think they both are gorgeous. Are you going to order both of them? And you are right, the price is certainly good, and Kimberly always puts extra fabric in her kits so you don't run short.
Well..........a girls gotta shop darn it that's what I'm just sayin!!!!!
I'm thinking that it's going to be harder to keep some of these stash busters on track than some others. I'm thinking YOU might be the most difficult of all! :) Not only are you tempting your own self but you're tempting the rest of us . . even those of us who can't applique!! I'm not a doctor but I don't think it was the meds that caused the heart to stop beating momentarily. Those are both beautiful!!
Stay strong! Don't do something in a moment of weakness that you'll regret later. But, in the event you will regret later if you do NOT get it . . you know what you have to do.
Maybe it's time to pull out ALL the BOM's you have that aren't done and see if you must have the new ones or if you can truly walk away without regret.
Even though I want desperately to bust my stash, if I come across something that I'm going to always wish I'd bought . . I'm going to get it!
Your All Things Christmas top is going to be lovely, lovely, lovely all done. STOP poking around the internet and work on that as a bit... and as an incentive, think about what new BOM will replace Christmas - once it is done, done, done. And, I can see how you would want to work on something so springy/summery after your winter project.
Cheers!
Evelyn
Not that I'm saying you should buy, but do you think maybe you have fabrics you could use to get the same effects and just buy the patterns? I mean if you really have to buy?
just 'cuz!!!

Just sayin' what exactly? LOL
Look how sweet you are, trying to "share" and all! Go ahead, I'll watch ;-)

My comment was going to be the same as Judy's... but what about your stash? lol
They are tempting, though!
I'll say they're pretty. But, ya know -- I'm just sayin, that maybe you could get the patterns and make the same thing out of fabrics from, your stash? I'm just sayin...
They are pretty..perhaps give it a few days and go back and see if you really LOVE them..can you live without that quilt? If you honestly don't feel you can...then buy it. Chances are you CAN live without it! haha...I'm just sayin'
I spend a lot of time at Fat Quarter Shop, too, and do my darndest not to BUY anything!! You're not helping my resolve in the least, I'll have you know! I look forward to seeing Blossom Time on your bed! tee hee!
