Penny's "50" Give-Away

So when we were talking this morning, Penny and me, she came up with 50 when I asked her to pick a number.

Her choice kind of took me aback, but I'll go with it anyway.

Leave a comment and tell me whether you'd rather have:

1. 50 yards of miscellaneous fabric from my stash

2. 50 miscellaneous fat quarters from my stash

OR

3. A $50 gift certificate to the Fat Quarter shop

One winner will be chosen.

Since I won't be able to post at all this week, I'll run the give-away to next Saturday morning, July 23rd, when I get up and have a cup of coffee. It'll probably be around 6:00ish a.m.

Be sure to leave contact info (either a link to your blog or your email address) in case your name is chosen.

Remember, comment moderation is turned on, so you might not see your post right away. I will be publishing several times a day, so be patient. Also, because of the volume of entries for give-aways, I won't be able to respond to each comment. Please know that all commenters are entered.

That Penny! Whatever am I going to do with her?

You have the most generous giveaways!

I have been thinking about this for days as A) I really don't need any new additions to my stash and B) I couldn't decide which prize would be best! But, if there's anything else I like better than my own fabric purchases arriving in the mail, it's someone else's fabric arriving that is a complete surprise to me, so count me in for the 50 fat quarters please.

And thank you again for the awesome giveaway!

What an amazing giveaway. I'd love all the fabric but since I'm in Australia and the postage would be so expensive, I'd better pick the gift voucher.

I think a $50 FQS GC would be economical considering the shipping costs of 50 yards or 50 FQs of fabric ;D
Thanks for the generosity!

Wow, that is a really hard choice. You must have a HUGE stash (I just started following you). I think I would go with the $50 gift certificate because I really want some Hometown by Sweetwater. My stash is pretty big already but of course I want something new! Thanks!

Wow! What a crazy giveaway! I would love the 50 fat quarters but the shipping would be crazy, so the gift certificate would be a better choice. Thank you!

Thanks Vicky for an awesome giveaway. Penny certainly knows how to pick a good number, so I think I would like the 50 fat quarters.

One year for Xmas, when I was around 10, I got $50 from an uncle. It was all folded $1 bills, it looked like a million bucks! That's what I imagine 50 fat quarters to look like, a million bucks! When I was 10 I opened my present and screamed like I had won the lottery. I bet I would react the same way now ;) great giveaway!

Do you think maybe you should have said something like pick a number between, before you asked her to pick a #! OMG what is she had said 242 that is just frightening! Do you truely want to get rid of 50 yards of your stash? All the prizes are wonderful!I guess I would go with the GC from the FQ shop. All I can think about at the moment is what on earth would it cost you to mail 50 yards of fabric. Thank you so much for being so brave as to make this offer in your giveaway!

Are you sure Penny is your friend? What fun! I have a pretty big stash & lots of FQ's so I'd go with the gift certificate - needing some Kona solids for a few quilts in my wanna do list. thanks!

Put me down for 50 yards of fabric! Wow! Thanks!

Wow, what a generous giveaway! My storage space is exploding so I would have to say either the 50fq or the FQS gc(plus the GC is much cheaper to send to Hawaii!), was on a fabric diet until I saw that Scandinavian Christmas pack on your Blog!!!!
Thanks for the chance.

If I win, I will let Penny choose which one she'd like to send! All are great choices! Wow!

I can only pick ONE? Well....I guess I'll pick 50 yards from your stash! I can always share it, right? The gift cert is certainly tempting, but then I might spend MORE $$ if I go to the FQ shop!

Thanks for this chance!! :D

All of those are great prizes. If I had to pick , I would pick the 50 yards. there would probably be some good pillowcase fabric in there. THanks for the chance.

Wow! Penny sure is generous with your stuff! I'd have to go with a $50 gift certificate to the Fat Quarter Shop. I've been drooling over a couple of the new collections (Summer House, Flower Sugar...)!

You are a cruel woman making us choose this way lol - I'm going with the fat quarters because, well, who doesn't love a pile of fat quarters!?!? VermontPines@aol.com

50 yards or FQ's would be fantastic but I would not burden you with the Overseas shipping charges so a FQS voucher would be perfect. THank you for your generous giveaway.

Thanks for being so generous. I can't imagine having a place to store 50 yards. I would love 50 fat quarters or a gift certificate.

What a friend! And what a friend you are. 50 of anything would be incredible. I have just been organizing my fabric, taking it out of the large plastic totes and stacking it on shelves. I'm amazed at how many blue pieces I have. Unfortunately, my husband suggested that I don't need to buy any fabric for quite a while now. I knew there was a reason for keeping it out of sight!

I would love the chance to win 5o yards of fabric from your stash. I have seen some pictures of your stash, so would love anything from it. Thank you for this awesome giveaway. Penny is a sweetheart! (grin)

Holy Smokes!! I can't believe this incredible and generous giveaway!! Wow! I don't know which to choose because they would all be so incredible! But since you want a decision in my comment I will say the GC. Thanks!

Michelle said...

Oh My! I can't imagine winning 50 yards of fabric from you....wow, i hope i win !!! Thanks for the chance, you are soooo sweet. Much Love!

LisaT said...

Wowser! Thanks so much! I will have to say - surprise me. I mean, if you want to clear the clutter, Ill take the yardage. I do have a bit of a FQ stash but the problem is that I have a lot of oddball prints and no matching ones to go with it and I dont have many patterns for precuts. The gift certificate is awesome too because I could by a matching bundle - saweeeeet!

You must have quite the incredible stash! I'm not sure that I have 50 yards in my stash. I'd love to win 50 yards but since I live in Canada and postage would be horrendous, I would happily take 50 fat quarters. Thanks for a chance to win.

I think I would go for the $50 gift card. Although all choices are absolutely amazing. I would definitely want to put to use the gc for pattern purchases as well as my favorite fabrics.
Thanks.

I wondered if I had read the numbers incorrectly--Was that a 50? Or had my computer added a 0 to your giveaway? :)
I'd love to win fabric and fat quarters from your stash. Since I haven't bought much fabric this year (not because I have tons, but because of my budget), a gift certificate calls to me, but I can't resist fabric from another quilter. What a treat it is just thinking about it! Thanks very much for the chance.
