Quilt Market

Is everyone else as excited as I am to see all the new designs and fabrics at Quilt Market?

I've been trying to follow the Fat Quarter Shop on their Jolly Jabber blog and Facebook and Twitter, but they're posting things faster than I can keep up! LOL. There are buttons on the right side of their blog page that will connect you with their constant stream of posts on Facebook and Twitter. Go ahead. Poke those buttons! I dare you!

Guess I need to start making a list and checking it twice! I find that if I do that, then I'm not sidetracked when it comes to poking buy buttons.

But while everyone is in Houston seeing everything up close and personal, those of us who can't go need to have some fun, too! I'll bet you agree with me!

Leave a comment to tell me which of the lines or patterns at Market you are most excited about getting when they are released for sale. I'll leave this open until Monday night, 10/31, when I get home from work. A winner will be chosen to win a $50 gift certificate to the Fat Quarter Shop so you can purchase some of your favorite fabric when it arrives there!

Can't wait to see what you all are going to choose! Maybe I ought to hold off on my list until I see what everyone wants! :) Remember, you must have a new line or pattern or book, etc., in your comment to be eligible for the drawing.

Good luck!

That is like taking a kid to a candy store and asking him to pick one thing, lol. I am loving all the fun kid prints and the new primitive and civil war prints. I would love to get some more of Barbara Brackman's new 1864 prints.

I'm not sure yet what's coming out! But I did see the mew 3 Sisters line on the Jolly Jabber and it's gorgeous of course. I'm also looking forward to Rouenerries Deux (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). I'm looking forward to market updates so I can see what else is coming in the spring!

I have been watching too, but of everything so far, I'm torn between Prairie Paisley II and Papillon. Right now Papillon is winning, it looks so elegant. But like you, I'm finding it hard to keep up and I think I'm on overload. Maybe that's why I keep going back to Papillon, I find the colors are also very soothing. As for patterns, I know Carrie Nelson isn't at Market this year but I'm really itching to have a copy of her newest Schnibbles book. Hugs...

It's got to be the Ruby line. I used to be scared to death of red and aqua ~ Now I can't seem to get enough of it!

I really like Prairie Paisley II. I'm collecting red/blue/tan for the Dear Jane I want to start in 2012. One new project to work on and the rest of the year should be spent getting the UFOs under control. I wish!

I just finished looking at all their pictures on Facebook. I am lusting after Reunion by Sweetwater. The Heart pattern they made for market is so cute and the colors of this new line are calling to me. The new line by Amy Butler's Husband looks goo too. Very masculine colors so maybe I could make a manly quilt for my hubby now. California Girl by Fig Tree looks pretty too.

Vicki,
You are a very generous blogger! Very nice to have you back.
It is difficult to choose just one fabric line, so many beautiful lines are available. I believe my biggest personal reaction was to Papillon by 3 Sisters, when I first saw a picture of it.
Thank you for this opportunity.
