I relapsed big time. And I've been coughing so much that I developed a horrendous pain in my ribcage. I was absolutely certain I had broken a rib. Hurts to sit up; hurts to lay down; hurts to breathe.
Well, after x-rays yesterday I was told nothing is broken. I have a touch of pleurisy. Man, talk about painful.
Anyway, that's why I haven't been posting.
I promised myself to do better but it is what it is.
This weekend I have help to move some tubs of fabric and a few other things into off-site storage. I desperately need to do that before the work starts around here. It'll be good to get this task off my plate.
Will be back soon. Promise.

You are in my prayers--get well soon!
Don't worry about posting. . . you need to take care of yourself first.
Hope you are feeling much better very soon!
Oh dear! I hope you start to feel better! Please take care of yourself...we would make a good pair. I had whooping cough and am finding the old wives tale of it being a 100 day cough is true!
Please, don't worry about us, we'll still be here. Just concentrate on getting well.
I hope you feel better soon, pleurisy is no fun.
I have displaced ribs, so I avoid coughing colds, it can be a killer on the ribs.

Take care Vicky. I had it too, eventually... it does go away :0)
You will be in my prayers! I hope you feel better soon!
I'm sorry to hear that you're still ill. You MUST take care of YOU. Sending lots of healing thoughts and hugs.
(hugs)
Take care of yourself!
oh, pleurisy is NO fun! Hubby got it one time and I took him to the ER in the middle of the night because he thought he was having a heart attack. Keep up on that ibuprofen and take it easy!
I'm so sorry you're feeling bad, Vicky! Hope your recovery is speedy from here on out.
Gentle ((hugs))! I hope you feel better soon!
Hey, Vicki, please get well soon, big hugs! Sounds like you have pleurisy!!
Oh dear Vicky, I am so sorry you're still fighting with the stuff. And I am glad you're getting some help, no fun getting remodeling done if you have to trip over it all! Hugs!
I thought you were busy packing up fabric. I'm sorry to hear you are sick. Sending prayers.
What you have to do is take care of yourself - that is what promising yourself to do better is. Don't worry about us. We'll be here but we want you well.
Don't overdo it with moving tubs. :-)
Please take care. I have had pleurisy and I know exactly how you feel. It will get better!
Take care---Do what the doctor says and quilt time will be the reward
Sick again! Oh no. I have never had pleurisy but know of some that have. And I know it can be painful. I hope you are well soon and back to sewing up a storm.
I hope you have someone to help you with this. You'll just get worn down again. Hope you are better soon.
Oh goodness! I had pleurisy once. I thought I would die! I could not even talk without my voice cracking. I do believe it was the worst pain I have ever had. I'll be saying a prayer for recovery for you. Take it easy till you are better.
Please take care you you!. . . (Tell Penny - she's in charge. . . (she'll like that!)) ;o)
Hugs from Bren & Bailey!

Oh Vicky! Take care! Sorry to hear that you are still not well.
Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. Make this tea: About 3 cups water. Slice an onion and boil it (throw in the peels) with some slices of fresh ginger root. Strain the mixture into your coffee mug and add a squeeze of fresh lemon and 1-2 TBS of honey. It works! My Nana always gave this to us. Cheers! Evelyn
