Stash Report Week 42

I'll be glad when this year is over so I can start afresh! My stash reporting is hilarious! Some things I couldn't live without .... you know how that is! Fall Market is next week. It's hopeless! Judy, you're going to make me sew more next year, right?

Year-to-Date Totals:

Busted: 406.00 yards
Purchased: 689.00 yards
Net YTD: <283.00> yards busted

This is good for us. We're only human and we've definitely found our weakest point! :) Who cares? It's just fabric and that's what makes us happy, right? Fabric and Dr. Pepper! What more could a girl ask for?? And yes, we're going to sew more next year and maybe shop less! Or . . maybe not!

LOL! Me too because I want to fabric shop in the worst way! I thin that next year, with the economy bad, that we should have some sort buying contest. It seems like it would be a very patriotic thing to do!

Think of all the people we're keeping warm this winter!!! The new year will be here all too soon. You're going to fall market!?!?! I'm so jealous... although my bank account is happy I'm not going. Take pictures (if it's allowed).

It's very difficult to cut back on buying fabric when there are way too many beautiful fabric lines out there! I try not to look, or buy things when they're on sale. When you use your fabric stash, it's for such beautiful projects - you shouldn't feel guilty for buying something you love.

better add droooollll to that list along with envy, lust and jealousy!

I'm just hoping to hold out till next year before doing some major fabric shopping, but don't hold me to it; especially when we start seeing reports from market!

enjoy yourself!

I'm sort of new to quilting (only been at it since February 2008). How does this stash busting thing work. I sore on the bible that I'd only buy anough fabric for each project I'm working on...lomng story short I've now got a good two thirds of my armoiré filled with fabric, the other third is other misc. quilting and sewing items. I really need to curb my fabric purchases but it's all so pretty!
