These ducks visited this morning on the walking path right by my patio. Penny was whining and they were quacking. This went on for quite some time, before they finally waddled on. Now she's out there sniffing around for them still. We're next to a golf course, but I've never seen them by my condo before.
I've had a burst of quilting inspiration this morning, but I'm sure by the time I finish vacuuming it'll be gone again. After vacation I know I'll get back into it. I'm just tired now and homesick. Nine more working days!

I love watching the wild life no matter where it is. If I don't get to tell you before, you have a wonderful time going back home and I am sure by then you will get you mojo back for quilting. Counting down with you.

Everyone needs a "slug" day - things catch up with a person, and not only does your body need to rest, but your brain also. Hope it does you good!

Hi Vicky. I just caught up by reading back a bit. I had to figure out who Penny was. I am very sorry about Daisy but also really glad you have Penny now. I hope things continue to go well for you.
