Stash Report 2010 - Week 12

Things landed this week and the only sewing I've done are on BOMs. Today, though, I'm going to finish up some BOM blocks, and then cut out a new project. That should even out my totals for next week.

Three boxes came in this week totaling 10.5 yards. Well, actually there was more than that, but I'm not going to claim a bit of it just yet. I want to post a blog about it on the week that I count it as incoming. It's exciting! I'm excited!

What I am counting is a kit that I ordered from Brenda Riddle at Little Acorns using her Celebration fabric by Lecien, 7 yards. I can't wait to make this one. I'm leaving it out on my cutting table!

I also ordered two yards of a red/green Civil War fabric for a couple of small quilts I have on the to-do list, and 1.5 yards of Hunky Dory. 10.5 yards total purchased.

About the Hunky Dory -- I made Cotton Candy Blooms quilt for the Fat Quarter Shop. Gosh, this was a fun quilt to make, and it was SO easy! And there were good, usable pieces leftover. So I ordered 1.5 yards to put borders on another quilt from the Sweetwater pattern shown that will be made from the scraps. I'm excited about doing this. Something I've been contemplating doing for a long time with leftovers.

So I'm leaving these two out on my cutting table, because I plan to get busy on them - maybe starting today. Also the Stars & Bars quilt kit from Minick & Simpson! There's always going to be some M&S thrown in the mix! :)

I have my work cut out for me for the next couple of weeks! The stash report will be back in the black in no time flat!

Year-to-Date Totals:

Busted: 86.25 yards
Purchased: 98.375 yards
Net YTD: <12.125> yards busted

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And Pennsylvania Dutch BOM block makers, don't forget the drawing is this afternoon for the $25 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop! Go HERE to comment about your finished block!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Also (if you've read down this far) - there's going to be a small give-away posted here later tonight. Then a bigger one after that is finished! Stay tuned!

Good luck with all that yumminess! I know I'd just sit there going back and forth as to which to work on first! Or maybe just petting the fabrics..

Love the kit you ordered with Brenda's fabrics. And I was checking out the Cotton Candy Blooms kit just this morning at the Fat Quarter Shop. I didn't know you made it -- it's beautiful!

I love everything you showed. How are you going to decide which to do first? Pretty, pretty, pretty. Maybe you could set them out and let Penny choose or is that chews? She cracks me up.
