Thimble Quilt

I'm going to make a thimble quilt out of '30s fabrics. I have a ton more 6" thimbles to cut out, but it's fast with the cutter. It's going to be a ton of sewing, but I'm up to the task!

There are only 82 here. Need to figure out how many million more I need.

You are in luck with the accu-quilt. I like the 30s prints with the traditional quilt pattern.

You're gonna love the thimble! I've got kits ready to sew up in Civil War repros and in Thimbleberries. Can't wait to get started on them! Bought my kits from local quilt shops -- more and more I think I want a GO for myself! :-D
Blessings!

OK, I'm here to break the news to you - you're going to need a 'squillion'. Since you're already cutting a squillion for yourself then I think you need to cut a squillion for me, too. LOL

Have fun.

you're gonna love this quilt! as for how many, just lay out a row of 10 thimbles and subtract 5 inches from the measurement to get your finnished size.
Are you going to add 1/2 thimbles to square the edges, or are you going to leave them as is?
Happy sewing!

"Only" 82? Sheesh! I'd be overwhelmed already. In my dreams, I quilt as much as you do. :-)

I adore these blocks! I call them tumblers but they are awesome on every fabric type!

You're exaggerating--you'll only need a few thousand more, LOL! Those are sure pretty. I'm still entering contests, trying to win one of those nifty machines.
