I'm in B-I-G Trouble!

There was a box on my doorstep tonight from the Fat Quarter Shop. Good, one of the two or three I was expecting.

Wrong.

It was a whole big box of various clubs, finishing kits, charms, layer cakes, kits.

Tonight I sat down and figured out the yardage in that Robyn Pandolph kit that came in a few weeks ago, A Charmed Life.

Penny likes it! This is a lousy picture. It's a gorgeous quilt.

Anyway, altogether with that kit plus what came in today - 40.58 yards. And I've still have two or three more boxes coming this week.

What happened?

I'm surely set for life in the fabric category, right?

My retirement stash runneth over!

Oh, geez, I just remembered something else that will probably arrive this week......

I don't know. I just don't know.

Maybe these were some things that you ordered in your birthday month and are just coming in stock now?

I LOVE getting packages in the mail, but I think I'll have to live vicariously through you. I don't know if I've ever gotten that much in one package before though. I consider my sewing room my happy place, but I imagine yours must be even happier than mine!

Stop feeling guilty!! We're counting on you to have the most fabulous stash and you can't let us down.
You're doing a very good job and when/if I need a piece of "the perfect fabric"; you're sure to have it.
Enjoy!!! That's a beautiful quilt.

If Penny likes it, that's justification enough, right? :-)

Wait a minute. Wasn't August or September the month that nothing counts?? Maybe you could pretend you ordered them back then and they are just arriving. LOL

I thought I was bad a adding to the stash, but I believe you have me beat. My husband informs me that he knows I've bought the same kit more than once, haven't found them both yet, but he assures me I've done it. I'll see something I like and he says, you already have that....I have so much stuff I probably couldn't get it done in 3 life times, much less one, but it's it a fun obsession? I LOVE getting those packages in the mail and getting to fondle all that fabric.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that I have a Molly who looks exactly like your Penny. She's 6 and a wonderful companion. We also have Max who is 3 and red. He's a terror, nothing like her, but we love him anyway. She lets him know who's in charge!
