Checking In

I've been moving around fabric. That stuff is heavy!! Hopefully after two more weekends I'll be sewing up a storm. The first thing I'm going to do is piece a few backings and get them off to the quilter! It's ridiculous having finished tops in a pile. Might as well turn them into something useful!

My loved one who is going through chemo now is doing really well. Thank you to everyone who has asked. She received her chemo quilt yesterday and loves it. Every opportunity to make her smile is golden!

Just grabbed my camera to take a picture of the gorgeous outdoors, and the batteries are dead. I need to put it with every other electronic contraption lined up on the kitchen counter at night to charge. I had to laugh when I came downstairs this morning ... there they were - laptop, iPad, Kindle, phone. And I'm the most unsophisticated electronic gadget person you'd ever meet. Whodathunk it? Each has its purpose, worked-related and personal, but enough is enough! I'm running out of plugs!

Penny is standing by the door. Guess it's time for another "airing." I really think she just wants to go outside and play! She saw ducks last weekend and she thinks they're still there waiting for her. She's cute, but I never said she was real smart! (sigh)

Nice to 'see' you. Actually, I think Miss Penny is very smart - she's got you believing that she thinks the ducks are waiting for her. LOL

Glad your loved one is doing ok.

Hugs!

I'm happy to read your loved one is doing ok and has a snuggle quilt.
I think Penny knows you need some fresh air and sunshine. ;-)
Good luck in moving your fabrics.
Have a happy weekend!

Glad you loved one is doing well. A perfect snuggle quilt will add some more good thoughts for sure. I have the same reaction with all our chargers too....but how did we get along even ten years ago....lol
