Today was a really nice day. Leisurely sewed and accomplished quite a bit.
I pooped out for tonight. Just the bottom sashing row and borders to go.
I didn't cut enough of the sashings, so I'll do that tomorrow.
All in all, I'd say this was a pretty productive holiday weekend. But the best part of it was I really had a good time. You know what? I could really get into this quilting thing! :)

Love your string beans! Glad you are back in the q-world... and lovin' it!
I'm so glad you tried this quilting thing and enjoyed it. LOL You might consider doing a bit more - there's lots more fun to be had. :-)

Love this quilt, I am sure it will be added to my sale order at FQS in a few minutes...lol
That is going to be so cute!
It's so nice to sew with others! I watched Bonnie Hunter's quilt cam for a while this afternoon and it was so productive for me to hear someone chattering in the back while I spun my center seams and pressed, pressed, pressed! lol
just adorable and I am so glad you had fun, oh yes I am looking forward to you retiring its going to be fun watching you make a quilt every few days!!!!
you might need to consider buying a long arm as a retirement present!

Now that you've gotten into "this quilting thing" you'll be amazed how fast your fabric stash will grow! Glad to see you're back at it in full force!

what a marvelous weekend you've had! i love that you've used the dark beens in the corners. this is gonna be such a cute quilt, and a great reminder of the fun you had in making it. huggs.
It looks great! You got a lot done this weekend!
Wow, you DID get a lot done! Congratulations! I'm still plugging away but have class two nights this week after work. No stitching for me!
Cute blocks indeed! And it is so restorative to have a long weekend filled with sewing.
Cute quilt! I love the peek of your border fabric.
Holy cow - you got a lot done in the last 10 days!!!
Take care of your back, please - I try to remind myself to stretch every now and then when sewing but I know how hard that is when you're on a roll. I also have a "must take a five minute break" rule every time I get out the seam ripper. It usually saves me from having to get it out again. :-)
