Not Worth .....

As Daddy used to say, I'm not worth the bullet it'd take to shoot me.

I've been home almost flat on my back for going on two weeks.  Tomorrow I have the distinct pleasure of getting steroid injections in my neck.  Aren't you jealous?

The good thing about being immobile is that I've conjured up scores of quilt designs in my head.  Or maybe that was the pain medicine.

I'm typing this with one hand.  So I have to make it short.

Please think good thoughts for me tomorrow as you're having your morning coffee or tea.

I'm sorry you've been lid up for so long. I know that can get old fast! However, I just got 4 of the injections in my neck about 3 weeks ago and they made a huge difference for me. Hopefully they'll do the same for you. Although to be honest, the first 3 days after the shots were rough!!!

I do hope you will feel much better after the injections. It is always frightening when we have some new procedure but hopefully the prayers of many will give you peace and comfort. Praying for you!

Oh Vick, I'm so sorry. I have been there, quite literally, and I know how frustrating and painful that is. I am crossing my fingers that the injections bring you some relief--I've been having them (lumbar injections) about 8 months apart for the last three years, and I have found them to be immensely helpful in managing my pain and delaying further surgeries. Hoping you're back to doing what you love soon!

Vicky
I hope that they help you as much as they have helped me.I've had that procedure on my lower back and the steroid injections helped very much. Actually the worse part for me was my anxiety or fear of needles/injections. Hang in there, take care & I hope you feel better soon. Penny in So CA
