Slowly working on finishing up the basket blocks. I have finished 269 out of 291. If I'd concentrate and push a bit, they'd be finished in short order. I seem to be piddling now that the end is in site. Just 22 more to go!
It's been a busy weekend with the help I had in the yard Friday and Saturday. I figure by the time we get through trimming everything, it'll be time to start over.
Love your blocks! I can't wait to see how it all looks put together. I really need to get back to working on mine but unlike you, I only have 60+ blocks of it done. Blessings...Kristie
Your blocks are going to make a great quilt. When my energy slows down on making additional blocks, I get things in order on my design wall and start putting the first quarter of the quilt together. As the quilt shapes up to be in its sewn stage, I am real motivated to stitch the last few blocks, and voila you're on your way. I enjoy your blog; like you, I moved from CA, and reside now in TX. Wish I had the gardening possibilities in your new LA. Stephani in N. TX (Tomazec@aol.com)
Some day I would like to see pictures of your yard. You have had a lot of work done to it. Do you see a lot of snakes? I know you are close to the water.
