Daisy's New Bed

This is one HAPPY camper! I took the big pillow out of the center, and tossed it on the floor so I could move her other one. She dove into her new bed and wouldn't come out! LOL! I think she likes it!

I also bought a new pad for her kennel. I'll have to get a picture of her in the kennel this weekend when the light is better. She looks like she's in jail, but that's her little safe house. She often goes in there to sleep on the weekends or when I'm busy and ignoring her. Such a silly dog!

I guess it's time to start working on her quilt. It's going to have flowers, black background (black hair and all), and daisies in the border. I finally rescued my Inspiration Quilt from her, washed it and put it on the bookshelf. For a couple of days she stood there looking up at it and whining. Yep, time for her own quilt!

I'm hiding a secret from Jane. I know she'd fuss at me if she knew, so I'm not telling her! Tee-hee!

Finally a good accountant interview this afternoon. I hope this one doesn't get away. CEO said he'd make a decision tomorrow. She's a tad less qualified than some of the others we interviewed, but I sat and talked with her for almost an hour and I feel I will be able to train her to do things our way. Let's hope she accepts the position. I'll feel more comfortable going home knowing there's someone in that department.

of course daisy needs her own quilt. I love your plan for it, and I'm sure Daisy will enjoy it :-) I hope the accountant works out. It'd be such a stress relief for you.

What? Daisy doesn't already have her own quilt? BAD MOMMY! You rectify that right now. LOL!

Daisy sure looks comfy in her bed but think how much confier she'll be with her own quilt to snuggle in. :-)

And I sure hope they hire the accountant YOU want. Sometimes extra experience isn't always a good thing. Better to go with the one you feel you can work with best.

I just think your little dachsie is so cute. And it sounds like the 2 of you are the best of friends.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the new accountant.

Fingers crossed and I'll do the legs and eyes if that's what it takes to convince the CEO that this could be a good match. Surely he will listen to your views on the subject about a "good fit" and not just the mirror test?

AWWWW look at the Daisy dog--they are so funny!

Great bed for Daisy, my poor baby uses the floor and his quilt. Actually, his quilt is just a muslin and batting sandwhich that I practiced my quilting on and folded in half to give him extra padding. He has been known to pick it up and shake it around as though to spread it out and repostition it when it gets rumpled. My 'baby' is 90lbs of German Shepherd, I don't think I could afford a bed like Daisy's for him.

Disco has a bed like that and he loves it. I took out the middle pillow because he likes having his back up against something and the middle pillow is kinda superfluous. When I got him a new one I used the old to hold all his toys. Works great!

Gold star for all you gals and glad Daisy got her new bed and she likes it. My cats have NEVER touch any bed I have bought them! NEVER!

Chesty likes his kennel too - he can't be trusted out in the house on his own so he has to go in when we're not home. Luckily I'm here most of the time except when we're traveling and then he has to go to the kennel.

You sound excited about your trip. It's good to be able to go home and see family.
