Throes of Creativity

I was rolling on the floor laughing when I got home tonight. What a pig I am! And I cleaned up this twice this weekend, although you could never tell it from this picture!

Daisy's little bed is back in that corner between the sewing and cutting tables. She is so funny -- tiptoeing through the fabric and paper that missed the trash can. She keeps coming over to me with that "OMG, what happened?" look on her face!

I don't care. I'm having fun!

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.....

I once heard that a messy desk was the sign of a creative mind. I think the same can be said of a sewing area. I think we all do this when we are at our most creative point!

Having fun is all that matters! Love the look on Daisy's face!

My Mom (the best seamstress in the world) always says the most creative minds have messy sewing rooms. You cannot sew and be neat. It is technically impossible. Looks like you're having a ball and creating a masterpiece... have fun for me.

I'm clapping my hands - because I am happy and because my sewing room looks the same. Isn't it fun?

She does kinda have that look on her face, doesn't she? Little cutie! Looks like a whole lotta creativity going on in that room! :)

You need a BIGGER trash can. Don't get me wrong - my studio is very messy right now but I do have 4 trash cans placed strategically around the room. One by the sewing machine, one by the longarm, a very large one by the cutting table, and one by the computer desk!

That's is a picture of someone who had a lot of fun!!! We messy quilters need to embrace our chaos, not apologise for it!

You're funny! I'm so glad to see that you're having fun. Poor Daisy . . she'd never make it at my house if she thinks that's a mess!
