I'm still plugging away on the Heritage top. I know I pledged to have it done this weekend, but yesterday, frankly, after getting a haircut and running a lot of errands, I decided to take a nap. I was useless after that. I did get three rows sewn on at Ginger's sew-in on Friday night, and I'm working on it now, but I don't expect to get it done with borders by tonight. I'm at the halfway point on the assembly. I'm real ready to work on something else, but I'm going to plow my way through on this one. My days of accumulating UFOs are over!!!!! I'll have a bust to report next week.
I didn't poke any buttons this week either, so no purchases. No automatic shipments either. I do have two patterns in my cart at The Fat Quarter Shop, but I haven't finished the transaction yet because I'm still looking at patterns. Kimberly has so many wonderful ones in stock now. I'm thinking stashbusting here!
As I looked around my sewing area this morning, there are a ton cute, easy projects that I pulled out. I might polish off two or three of those before I start another "hard" one. Also, I've been thinking about applique this week. I haven't done any hand stitching in ever so long. Maybe a week devoted just to prepping is in order.
So that's it. Nothing ventured; nothing gained. I guess it could be worse.
Year-to-Date Totals:
Busted: 27.50 yards
Purchased: 48.125 yards
Net YTD: <20.625> yards busted

yes, it could have been worse - you could have gone shopping like me. :-) Love the colors in your Heritage quilt.
Look at that stash report! You're so close to being in positive territory. Finish a few of those easy projects laying around, pull the backings for them and you'll be in the positive numbers next week!
I broke down this week and signed up for two block of the months at Fat Quarter Shop. The new Mystery BOM & Heartland Heritage Sampler. They are just amazing and so nice to work with.
I wouldn't worry about having a "bi" week. . .sports teams have them all the time!
The weather was glorious today, but I couldn't enjoy it too much due to a sewage back-up in our town that flooded my basement.
You're getting stuff done! Soon you'll have the quilt finished and be on to the next one. Go Vicky!!
