National Quilting Day

Or Weekend in my case!

Started off finishing up the first month's blocks for the Civil War Tribute BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop. I'm falling in love with this quilt already! I just need to pay better attention to the directional fabrics. Oops! I figure no one will notice when the quilt is all sewn together. At least that's what I'm hoping! LOL.

So what are YOU up to today? I have fun goals this weekend. Nothing exciting, but I have a plan and I'm sticking to it!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pennsylvania Dutch BOM participants, go HERE to post your block and be entered in the drawing tomorrow.
I had the same thought when I finished my blocks...I decided the same thing...there's so much going on in this quilt, no one will ever know. Enjoy your day! Happy National Quilting Day!
Your block looks good.
We spent the day at the quilt shop sewing. They are having a civil war speaker come in each month for the civil war tribute quilt bom.
Isn't today National Quilt Day?
Well you probably won't be the only one with the triangles going the wrong way- I have a feeling that mine will do the same thing (whenever I get around to sewing them together)!! Our quilt shop also has speakers coming in to talk.
Hey! I have the patterns for this and plan to start as soon as my 1800 fabric stash is up to par.
I did a mini-hop today in honor of National Quilting Day.
oh I like that you didn't pay attention to the direction of the fabrics, would be too matchy, matchy then!
looks wonderful...I am thinking I should have signed up for this one...
Love those colors! I spent yesterday playing in EQ6 and drawing up 18 blocks. They are finished and look great and I just need to color them. It's a new super secret project, but it means I will buy new fabric soon! :)
