Uh oh!

I'm not going to sleep a wink tonight. I have a dentist appointment at 7:00 a.m. -- yikes! He's going to take out a back tooth that has been giving me fits for years. I've had two root canals and four crowns on it, and ended up in the hospital with a jaw infection a couple of years back. It's time for it to go.

I'm not hungry tonight, but I'll be regretting not eating something tomorrow, won't I?

No pictures tonight. There is absolutely nothing of interest to photo around here. Penny included. She's being nice tonight. That certainly makes for boring pictures!

I'm having an issue with an online company that I just placed my first order with recently. After a rather "pointed" conversation with them yesterday, I'm supposed to have my order by Friday afternoon, a three-day shipment, although according to their website it hasn't shipped yet. Not a good way for them to start out with a new customer, I'd say.

My work person is not doing well at all. I really think we're looking at just a few more weeks before the end. It's just so sad. I have my annual trip to Louisiana planned to start on the 18th of this month. Wondering if I shouldn't kick that back to November .... I don't know. I left a message for my brother to call me to discuss.

Anyway, that's it. I keep walking around here going "Uh oh, uh oh." Don't ask me why, but I've found that if you say it altogether several times in rhythmic fashion, and then repeat that over and over, it's sort of like chanting! ROFLOL. I crack myself up sometimes.

Think of me tomorrow a.m. while you're munching on your bacon and pancakes and coffee. Take a sip for me!

Hey girl - speedy recovery after your tooth extraction tomorrow. Let me know if you are definitely coming to Louisiana later this month and if you plan to come in to New Orleans -- we have several new quilt shops that opened this past year here --- WOW -- we went from NONE to several now!

grab the vicodin and some tea bags on your way home---they'll both help. my dentist always told me to crunch down on a wet tea bag when the pain bothered me, and it worked.

hope you have a great vacation back home with your family!

Oh, Vicky -- I can relate -- I got a bad infection over the weekend in my mouth -- both upper and lower back teeth. Went on antibiotics Sunday and an hour in the dental chair Tuesday getting "flushed" with antibiotics. He's talking $5,000 implant with oral surgery first or a partial. Terrible getting decrepit (I was going to say old and decrepit but I can only take one at a time!) Good luck today and mega hugs to you.

Aw, hugs. You have a lot on your plate right now. I won't give you suggestions or anything because, well, that's your business but just know there are a lot of people around to support you.

Well, it is 6:55am now and you should be almost in your dental chair. I have worked in the dental field all my life and I can tell you one thing, this may be the easiest procedure you will have. Just be sure to be careful afterwards. DO NOT drink through a straw or gargle to rinse your mouth. You will do great!!!

Take care and I'm sure you will be just fine. They should have taken that tooth out a long time ago.

By now you should be out of that chair! I hope it wasn't too bad and your recovery is quick and hassle free! A nap is probably in order now. ;-)

So sorry to hear about your co-worker. My thoughts are with you and the family. We've had several losses in our office the last month or so too.

Hope the visit to the dentist went well. Good luck getting your package.

Hope all is well and your package arrives tomorrow.

How was it? I'm betting the extraction was much easier than was the root canal and crown. I think about you every day and wonder how things are going at work. This will be a difficult time.
