Penny Vs. Flower Head Pin

These pictures aren't very good. I was trying to show that in the battle of Penny versus the flower head pin, I was the loser! Instead, all it shows is my almost 60-year-old wrinkled hands.

I was sitting on the floor holding a flower head pin. That little snot ran up to me and grabbed it out of my hand and took off to her staircase landing spot. I jumped up, ran to where she was and grabbed it back from her. As I started to pull my hand away, she grabbed it again and raked it across the back of my hand. Yep, it bled. It's real angry looking, but that doesn't show in the picture.

It was interesting trying to take a picture of my wrinkled hand. When I want to take a picture of Penny, she escapes or turns her head. But let me try to take a picture of myself and she's right in the middle of it.

Penny is so cute. I can see the big scratch on your hand, ouch.

Oh, look she's by your hand saying I'm sorry. You can just see it all over her face can't you? She might think those pins are going to be a new game to play so you will chase her. Why do dogs and cats love quilting supplies? It's a great picture of her too bad you had to get hurt to get one.

Never a dull moment. She doesn't look so sweet to me. That picture looks more like, "Pssst, come closer and let me show you what I just got away with."

Yep, today I am in "DOGS" catagory. Spike decided about 1:30 he just had to roam around the bed, cough, sniffle, whine a bit. About 2:30 he coughed up some lovely contribution on the bed spread at which point my wonderful husband got up and took him out of the bedroom, they can nap all day, I'm at work! (Glad you're OK and Penny decided not to swallow and visit the vet)

I'm glad you got the pin back, but very sorry you got an "owie". Penny is a real cutie and I can't decide if she's looking sorry or mischievious. I'm sure capable of both! LOL! Hugs for both of you.

OMG! My pups are the same way! They look all pitiful when I am trying to pose them, but they jump on quilts when I am trying to take pictures without them! lol

Love the "unplanned" photo of Penny. Her behavior is so dachshund. Makes me laugh:)

Penny, I know you're not as innocent as you look! Seeing her eyes makes me think of seal's eyes. Beady and glossy!
