Stash Report 2011 - Week 11

This week was so busy that I didn't think I'd make it home before falling asleep a couple of days. Then I spent half of each night tossing and turning and worrying. I'm such a worrier. Truly! If you ever have something to worry about and need some help, just call me!

There were no purchases, and the only busts were the small give-aways this week. 6.71 yards busted.

Thanks to give-aways and the charity box my numbers are dropping, but I'd rather be sewing!

Oh, wait, I did sew a little. This week I made four little basket blocks and prepped 16 more yesterday. Even though I haven't been counting that yardage, at least some stitches were made. I did two on Friday night at the quilt shop while Jane was having her late night sew-in. It really helps to have them prepped and ready to go. I miscounted the last time I talked about this and only have 40 finished. That's okay. There are so many more to go that the few I was off doesn't really matter at all.

Today I'm going to muck out the Quilting Condo and the QuiltMobile. My glove box is stuffed with a lot of receipts and things that can be thrown away. My goal is the end of March to have all this done and to be able to sew guilt-free.

2011 Totals:

Busted: 90.87 yards
Purchased: 111.755 yards
Net YTD: (20.885) yards busted :(

Judy at Patchwork Times didn't sew this week either. I hope what I have is not catching!! But check out the week's stash report. Great things are being sewn up out there!

Since deciding to switch my bedrooms around this year, I haven't gotten much sewing done either. I have big plans to de-clutter and it has started. WOO HOO!!

Now, if only I could de-clutter my UFOs and stash by SEWING! lol

I like the way you have your basket blocks organized and numbered. I'm a worrier too and understand those sleepless nights.

OOOOH! Those baskets are incredible.

When I worry I can't sleep either. I have a stressful few weeks coming up at work and so I foresee a lot of sleepless nights.

I hate it when I have weeks like that. Tired and worried, with no sleep. I hope things get better for you soon.

I never seem to get as much sewing done as I'd like. My solution was to quit buying the fabric. But that certainly isn't fun not having new stuff to pet. It's no win!

I love those little baskets...when I'm fretting and stewing about stuff I can't sleep either...there should be a place we could all go when we're wide awake in the middle of the night.

Cute basket blocks. You are going to have to start singing that Don't worry, be happy song at dinner... then maybe you can sleep?

Frustrating weeks happen! Hang in there!

Are you by chance doing your taxes? If so, I do sympathize. My DH had me do them early, so now it's his turn to fiddle with those numbers.

Love your baskets!

I used to tease my mom for worrying so. She said worrying did work. 98% of what she worried about never came to pass. Good luck on your organizing. I love your basket blocks. They are so charming.

Sewing doesn't seem to be in life's plans this week, that's for sure. I hate it when I am so tired I can't sleep so I can empathize with you there. I hope things slow down soon for you. Hang in there, Friday's coming! :)

I'll be so happy when you're able to sit and sew in the evenings. If you get the condo and vehicle mucked out and still feel like mucking . . come on over!

Isn't it amazing, it doesn't matter where you live, worry can get you all the time, I have only my second Merchants Booth this weekend, All I can think of is what shall I forget to take.
Just keep sewing & if you can't sleep think of what you are going to make next!!
