A Binding Finished

I'm plowing my way through these one at a time. These were back from the quilter a year ago. The awfully busy year intervened. Now is the time to just get 'em done.

Penny's official third birthday portrait didn't turn out as I wanted. She was supposed to be ON the quilt, not under it peeking out.

Sigh.......

No way was she going to cooperate. I even had a doggy treat to tempt her. Nope.

Now you can see why she has so many "nicknames."

Punk!

The quilt is "Out of the Bag" by Judy at Patchwork Times. I think we did it as a challenge to pull our fabric from our stashes before she gave us the pattern. You can find it on her "Patterns for Free" link. Here's the quilt. This is a great, quick quilt, Judy. Thanks!!

I'm binding a Halloween one now. Maybe it'll be finished before October!

Very cute quilt! Quick ones are great breathers between the ones that are so labor intensive. I've been working on 2 applique quilts for over 3 years now!

It may not be a good birthday picture of Penny, but it's perfect for the quilt. I love her head just peeking over the corner.

Penny is just like my puppies, they won't let me get a good photo of them at all. At least you've got a cute picture of her peeking over the corner. She is such a cutie, nice quilt too. Thanks for link to Judy's site for the instructions. Looks like it would be a good scrap quilt.

Oh yes, I am binding one too that came back a year ago and then my granddaughter arrived with lots of showers and family actiivites. I also have lined up next a halloween one! How funny is that, I did a 1600 Halloween quilt in the same time frame thinking I was ahead of the game...nope, it came and went but like you I'll be ready this year! Love the one you just finished up!

Love the Penny pictures, even if there's only a bit of her peeking out of the corner. The quilt looks quite lovely- the christmassy colours are soft and gentle.
