LAQuilter

I've been such a bad blogger. This cold really knocked the wind out of me. I'm still not well, but at least I feel a little better.

Today I started getting pumped up about Alex Anderson's retreat in November. Got good news today that my friend was able to get in, too, so we're going to have a blast. This will be my fourth retreat - had to miss one year because of my shoulder surgery - and it will be so much fun seeing all my friends again!

Off to figure out what I can eat tonight that I can actually taste. I guess it's going to be soup again!

Vicky, I wondered how you were feeling. I saw on the APQS site that they were offering a contest and the prize is a trip to the AA retreat. Oh, what fun that would be, huh?

Glad you seem to be feeling a bit better. Take care of yourself.

Glad to hear that your "crud" is improving - isn't it just the pits being sick for so long! Soup sounds good .....

Can't wait to hear all about the AA retreat - do you have any specific projects that you'll be doing while you're there?

Sorry to hear you are still dragging. It's the pits to be so run down you can't even eat! Hmm, maybe I should be the one sick! Btw...that muffaletta (or however you spell it) looks really yummy, next time you have one, take a bite for me, okay? :)
Wow, a retreat with Alex--it's got to be fun. Glad your friend got in in time!

You're not a bad blogger - you're just a "blogger" who's not feeling well. Take care and pop in when you feel better. Be good to yourself and allow yourself to heal.

If you and I have the same thing I can really empathize with you! This cold has settled in my throat and I have once again lost my voice. Take care of yourself.

Take care of yourself, Vicki. Soup sounds wonderful, doesn't matter what kind; it'll still help.
You've got to be tip top for Alex!
