Weekend Applique

Finished two applique blocks this weekend.

The first Piece & Plenty applique block. I have to do the pieced blocks yet. I'll do those this week.
The center block for Strawberry Hill. This one needs some 'remedial' work on it. The dormer window is a bit wonky. LOL. I'll get that unstitched and restitched tomorrow night.

Next up is the fifth block on All Things Christmas. I've also worked on another applique block, but it's not ready to show yet.

All in all, I've had a relaxing weekend just stitching away. Daisy curled up at my feet almost the whole weekend. Lazy days! Wish I could take a couple of more of them!
Jane is off this week to Market. Hope she gets to meet Judy! I can't wait to hear about all the new stuff that will be soon be hitting the shops!

OK, I'm going to send my Peace and Plenty block to you to do for me! It's sitting untouched exactly where I left it when it arrived. Sigh!

No applique this week end but did get back to my Quilter's Journey stitchery project.

You're doing some beautiful stuff!

Love how that turned out, can't wait to feel free enough to start mine! I went ahead and ordered the Strawberry Hill pattern today from Kimberly. I guess that's a notch for you!

I haven't even touched my Piece and Plenty block. I just finished up the baby blanket today, so now I can move onto something else. I also have the Sweet Land of Liberty BOM that I haven't even touched yet. What have I gotten myself into!?

Your Piece and Plenty block looks great. I am struggling along with mine. Hope to have it finished before the next one comes out. I do have my paper piecing done, though, thank goodness!!

Vicki, I sure hope you are far away from the fires that are around Los Angeles. Glad to see Libby is OK - now please tell us that you are OK also!
