Home from Surgery

She's not a real happy camper right now. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Here she's sound asleep with her front legs stiff and holding up her upper body. It must hurt to lay on her tummy.

I wish I could make her more comfortable. If kisses were wishes, she'd be all well because she's been kissed a million times tonight.

Thanks to everyone for worrying with me.

Poor Penny!!! Glad to see her back home ok. Hope she feels better tomorrow... Limo was really weak when she came back home from the vet office when she got spayed at age 4 month old, but by next morning, she was jumping around all over in the house and got worried us. Sending more kisses to Penny :)

Vicki...put her on a soft pillow, she'll sink in and it won't hurt her tummy.

Poor baby!

She doesn't know you did her a favor. Just think, no PMS. I need to go to the vet. LOL!

I am so glad she did so well. This weekend she will be all over those selvedges again.

She'll be just fine. Dogs have a way of just bouncing back. Maggie sends her love and puppy smooches!

Ooh little Penny! It is the best thing for her though... it lessens the risk of mammary cancer. So you did good Mom! She will bounce back.

Oh, when my husband took Chip to the vet he was there for a good half hour before leaving because he kept changing his mind! But when I picked him up, my heart almost broke, he was so sedated and vulnerable but he was back to his old self by the next morning! Im glad to hear it all went OK :)
