Happiness...

Happiness is finding a box from the Fat Quarter Shop that came a week ago and you had forgotten about! It's like Christmas in July!

Hard work is done. CPA is in tomorrow. Come Friday afternoon at 5:00 I can relax big time!

I really haven't been a very good blogger the past couple of weeks. I need to photo more quilts and document them. I'll forget the details if I don't. Once the work pressure is off, then I'll be able to concentrate more.

I'm approaching my five-year mark in quilting. Next month, in fact. What a ride this has been. My goal is to have Lisa's quilt all done and ready to go to the quilter by then. That will complete the last of the immediate family quilts.

I'm so looking foward to this weekend. I need to figure out if it's this weekend that the sew-in is happening. If it's not, I plan to stay in my jammies all weekend and sew!

I was just catching up on your blog (I've been gone). I LOVE the basket blocks! How wonderful that you kept them all together, orphaned blocks are so sad. They will make a beautiful quilt & the finished quilt will have a great 'story' to tell about it's journey to become finished.

No fair to show the UN-opened box, Vicky!! :OP When I get a package, I'm usually ripping out open before it's even out of my mailman's hands! You have such great restraint!
I'm glad that things will be slowing down for you at work now. You SO deserve a restful weekend.

Vicky, it is understandable that your work concerns would keep you from quilting and blogging. This too shall pass and you'll back back at Lisa's quilt and showing us some other quilt completions.

I forgot about opening some used books that came until after midnight myself, LOL.

Oh, you want to know what was in the box? Oops, I forgot that part! LOL! It was Holly Go Lightly FQ tower. I had forgotten I ordered that and had already picked up yardage at the Fabric Patch. (Can't believe I'm admitting that to the stash busher group!) Oh, well! Surely enough for another Christmas quilt now! :)

Hi Vicky,
I've been reading your archives, and I have to say that you are one prolific lady! Your color sense is wonderful.
I can't wait to see what you make next.

Oh my - you must be REALLY tied up at work if you can receive a box like that and forget you have it!

I'm with Darlene - what's in the box!

To forget you even have a box is a bit much! I'm glad you get to slow down after today...for a couple months, anyway.

Must be Daisy pulled you out the door as soon as you got the box...bless her heart!

I agree with Darlene, I don't want to see the OUTSIDE of the box, I want to see what was IN the FQ box... :)
