Merrily We Applique!

Of course, since I don't have a picture to show, everyone is just going to have to believe me! :)

I've finished the second block of All Things Christmas. The top third of the quilt is done done done!

I bit the bullet and embroidered the arms on the snowman tonight. Question: What needle do you use for two strands of floss? The needle I'm using seems SO fat after using the straw needles for applique!

Note to self: Call Matt tomorrow!! I need pictures!!

Supper: My last bagel. I guess it's time to go to the market. I need to get food this time! LOL. No storage bags, magazines, junk stuff. Real food! Maybe I'll grill this weekend. I can get enough cooked for most of the week. Hmmmm......

Gratitudes:

~ A lot of them!

Seems to me that if you're trying to get us to believe you've done something without photographic proof, you might as well tell us you finished the giterdun! LOL! Hey, I had a bagel for dinner too! I made homemade chicken soup last night but it just didn't sound very appealing when it's so hot outside. I went to McDonald's for lunch--did you go there too? That would be waaay too much of a coincidence and I'd have to figure you for a stalker! LOL!

I believe you. =) I use an embroidery needle - John James big eye - for a lot of my stitching. But I also use the chenille needles with some threads, and big eye size 10 quilt needles, and milliners needles, too. I think I probably have about a dozen needle packets in my CQ drawer!

Yes, Yes, I believe you finished another block. Stop it, stop it, right now - you must stop!!! I will not order another Bunny Hill Designs BOM pattern. I haven't finished Pumpkin Hill nor Rabbits Prefer Chocolate and I have Baltimore Bunnies in the closet. This is all your fault - yes it is - you created a monster when you SHOVED me off the hand applique fence. Yep, definitely your fault.

Actually I want to do some applique but can't settle on a project.

I have used regular embroidery needles but went back to my sharps. I use sharps for everything - don't tell the quilt police. LOL

Hooray for getting past the tough times at work- less pressure is always welcome. Now - on to giterdun!

I'm so glad the hard part of the year is over for you. Maybe by the time the hard part of next year arrives, you'll have a helper who is working out great.

Yes, get that camera fixed!
