Living the Southern Life
Ooops! Glad you caught it before you went anywhere!
OMG...I did the same thing once...only I got all the way to Kansas City and almost home before I noticed it...lol
No, no, Beth, that was when I got home last night!
LOL! That's what I get for finding comfortable shoes and buying them in every available color!! You are not alone! :-D I think comfortable shoes are worth the risk, though, huh?Blessings,Mary Lou
LOL at least they're the same type of shoe! My daughter has decided matching socks are not to be done. EVER. I put out a matching pair every morning and she goes into her sock drawer and pulls out ones that are totally different!
OMG, I remember doing that more than once. LOLYou, my dear friend, are in serious need of sewing time. LOL
I bet no one else noticed either!
Hummmm. Let me guess VERY VERY tired. Bet it doesn't happen again soon. Too funny.
Oh oh, this looks very tired! And you know what my word verification is: EVENESSU
Oh goodness....did you make it very far before noticing? Can I tell you...I've actually gotten to the grocery store before with two same sandals...different colors!
I did that once and the only reason I noticed when I did is because the heels were slightly different heights, so it felt funny when I walked. Can't remember if I caught it before or after work, but like you, it was due to accounting work stress!!!
I did the same thing, leaving the house quickly for an on-call assignment. One blue pump with flower cut-outs, and one black alligator pump, about 1/2" difference in height. Didn't notice it until I was at the job.
hahahaha. Sorry you are so tired, but I gather you work in/with accounting and this is always a busy and stressful time of year. Hope you get some down time this weekend.
LOLOL.. I have done it too!
no, THIS is your story;"i was buying shoes one day and couldn't deide betwen two pairs. The shoe salesman suggested i put on one shoe of each pair, and walk around for a while...... it's taking me a long time to choose betwen them!
Been there; done that! At a business conference too - difference colors and heel height.Get some sleep, sweetie.Hugs, LadyBaltimore
I meant "different" colors.LadyB
A co-worker of mine did the same thing. . . .but didn't notice it until she got home. . . .worked the entire day with 2 different shoes!!
LOL:) Try to rest and enjoy the weekend!
*giggle* hope you caught that before going out the door! ;-) Have a restful weekend!
That's pretty funny Vicky.
i think you need a vacation!a stayvacation where you can just stay home and rest for a week or twoKathie
Bless your heart.... Confession, I've done that on a job interview...but I ended up getting the job...Cure the day with a bubble bath and needlework... at he very least a quilt magazine.
Hugs! When you are that tired its time to take a day and sew, eat and watch movies! oh and hug Penny!
Did anyone else notice?
Oh, I hope you caught your shoes mix up before work. If not, I'm sure you carried it off with style and grace!By the way, the total for yesterday? 9 1/2" of snow. We are all dug out and safe and sound here. :-)Cynthia
Have the itches gone away yet? Hope you sleep tonight. Hugs!
Vicky: I've done that! And it's a relief to know that several others have done it, too!
Oh how funny!! At least they were close to the same shoe. And to read how many people had done the same thing. Now wearing a flat and a pump in different colors...
Been there, done that. Also have done the sweater inside out routine, lol. Have you done that one lately?
Oh, my, I laughed~~ Hope you did too!
I once went to school in my slippers. Out the door into the garage, the car and as I stepped of the car at school only then did I realize it. Of course it was noticed right away. As each class came in that day I put one foot up on the desk and said "Yes, I wore my slippers...enough said" (sheepish grin firmly in place). For the next long while someone would remember, staff and students alike and remind me of the slipper day. See?? I'm still dining on that story and its been over 15 yrs.
I've done the same thing - twice! And they weren't just ordinary days, one was the day of Parent Teacher's Conferences. It was about 3rd Hour when one of my students noticed it. Thanks goodness, my husband was able to bring a matched set before conferences that afternoon. The other time was at the annual Achievement Awards. I was sitting at the side of the gym with the other faculty members and looked down and saw two different shoes. I had to walk out in front of everyone to announce an award. Thank goodness I was wearing slacks. If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything.
