I spoke very briefly with Judy at Patchwork Times last night via her cell phone. She is okay. She was not home, but was up somewhere near Joplin and the storm passed right over her. They were able to get into a safe room until it was over. She'll post about it when she gets home.

Thanks for posting this Vicky. I was worried about her. I knew she doesn't live there but I know she goes there often and thought she might get caught up in it. So glad she is safe.

Thanks, Vicky! She has been very much in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to know they are okay. Look forward to hearing about the storm from her viewpoint. It was a real heavy duty storm. Hope they don't get more today.
Thanks for the update! I've been going through my blog reader and read at least three posts that mentioned a tornado in Joplin MO and I kept thinking "doesn't Judy live there?" But I had already read about two posts from her and neither said anything about a storm.

Wish I had thought to look on your blog last night, I was really concerned about her. I was busy all day and when I finally had time to check email there was her blog so then I knew she was ok. Very thoughtful of you to post about her.
