Blast from the Past!

Wow! I had totally forgotten about this UFO until someone asked me about it tonight! Ignorance IS bliss!

I really want to get back into this one, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to take the class again. I remember being so confused. I managed to get the footballs all made, but was having trouble getting them sewn to the goalposts. Does that make sense?

Well, I'm in no hurry. It's been in a dresser drawer for over two years. But I did say tonight that if this one isn't finished in my lifetime, that I'm taking it with me!! LOL. So back off, all you dibbiers!

It was 102 today. I had to run an errand in the middle of the afternoon and I couldn't even touch the steering wheel. It's a good thing I just had to go around the corner. I drove with my knees! Oops, I shouldn't admit that, I guess.
I keep pulling stuff out the stash room and hauling it downstairs. You should see this place! Now this is on the dining room table. That was about the only clear surface in the house! LOL

Vicky if you have to park in the sun, get one of those window reflector thingies :-) It helps!

It's just too darn hot everywhere - we were 113 in my area today.

I'm coming to play at your house if you have goodies and toys spread out. :-)

The very first quilt I fell in love with when I wandered into a quilt shop years ago was a double wedding ring. I've always wanted to make one and I have the templates, just never had the couraage! :)

Now you are making me think about dragging out all my stuff!

Those fabrics are so pretty, put this one to the head of the UFOs-to-be-finished list.

That is one of my all time favorites....I started one so very long ago and it ended up in the trash bin. I still hope to make one someday.

I'm not going to complain that it was 86 here.

MY SIL asked for a double wedding ring quilt when I was making quilts for everyone. I still think it is beyond my skill level. Yours looks great.
Ahem, you said if it isn't finished, you aren't taking it. So if it is finished, I get first dibs right? :)

Wow that is beautiful! A DWR is on my "someday" list.
Have you tried the curve master foot? It works really well.

I carry a set of micro mitties in the car if it gets that hot outside and have had to use them a time or two. Hey, if they work for taking hot plates out then they will work on steering wheels!

Now that is a pretty, feminine quilt top.

That will be a beautiful quilt, one of these days! That pattern is one I've always wanted to try but never have and don't have any immediate plans to, but one of these days . . . .
