Well, all things considered with the quilt show and all, my report is still in the black! It won't be next week, though. I already know that. Charlevoix yardage has hit the Fat Quarter Shop, and I ordered some tonight. But I did good on that, too. I sat down with two Minick & Simpson patterns and got exactly what I needed for both of them! Watch me cave next week and order more! There's another pattern around here somewhere but I can't put my hands on it right now. (sigh)
I took out the three kits I purchased from Stars & Scraps at the quilt show. Honestly, I thought there were only two. Anyway, those totals are also added into the numbers below along with the Triangles Quilt yardage. Other than one pattern and a couple of books, that was it.
Then ten yards went out to a friend. Hey, gotta bust it wherever you can! :)
2011 Totals:
Busted: 32.65 yards
Purchased: 25.455 yards
Net YTD: 7.195 yards busted :)

Hi Vicky,
You are doing great as you are busting more than you are buying! Okay, I'm not actually sure that is good but I know it's one of your goals. :-)
The three new kits look like fun.
What pattern and book did you pick up?
By the way. Think of us next week as we have another potential storm coming up the east coast. Sigh...

Hope Stars and scraps still has one of those spools kits left tomorrow!
Vicky---I love to read what you've been doing.
Great kits...I've made Summer Kitchen...very fun pattern.
I like kits too...not so many choices for me to make!!!
That's some serious restraint!!
The kit project look like they are small so you should be able to bang those out in a jiffy. You are still in the black. Way to go. Woohoo!
Positive numbers. You're doing good!
As long as you are busting, that is what counts! And that spools wall hanging looks very cute! I wouldn't have passed that up either! :)
Hey - you are in the black so that's great and enjoy it before those new fabrics come in!

Hey you are totally going in the right direction... I may get there sometime LOL -
What great kits! They look fun~ love the octagon one! Have a happy week!
Thank you so much for mentioning the Charlevoix fabric line! My husband is named Traverse after Traverse City, MI, so when I saw the name and the cherry fabric I knew this was a line that must be added to the stash!
Good work on busting the stash!
i'm proud of you for busting more than you bought at the show.. nice job!! i only wish i was still in LA and would have been able to go to the show.
You get a great big star!!!! What do you get when you add to the total instead of losing? A raspberry! lol
Well, you are still in the black (for now at least!) he he he
Hey, Week 4 and still in the black! Congrats.
