You know how sometimes things just don't feel right, but you plow through just to finish this one step?
Well, I appliqued the center of the basket at 6:00 a.m., just to get it anchored down, and then I was going to head over to the sewing machine to begin my Quiltathon day.
Something just didn't feel right about it.
I guess not.
I appliqued the top basket to another prepped one. A two-fer! ROFLOL.
Should have started out the day at the Bernina, I guess!

6 a.m.? I only get up at 6 a.m. to catch a flight!
I am up at 6 am, but my brain isn't turned on yet...lol...I have had those moments too when "things just don't feel right"...they usually involve a seam ripper in the end too!
Have fun sewing today. I plan on doing some too.
That is too funny...I somehow managed to applique through a block and onto a shirt I had on...I kept thinking...hmmm, this fabric seems thick...didn't stop to check...LOL!

No--stay away from your machine! Had a friend who was going to "fix her pants quick" while she was in her skivvies. stood at the sewing machine to fix them. Sewed over her finger and she and her husband couldn't get the needle out! Had to call 911. Volunteer fire department and paramedics came. Small town, all guys she went to school with. And her in her underwear. They ALL laughed and ended up taking her and her machine to the hospital! So don't sew unless you REALLY are awake!

Vicki W (previoius commenter) kindly mentioned I had a block i the wrong place, so I happily unsewed THE WRONG BLOCK! leaving me two blocks in the wrong place! LOL -- what would we all do without each other?
