Stash Report Week 44

Nothing has changed since last week. I am still 535.20 yards in the red. Is anyone surprised at that? (rolls eyes)

Penny had two baby teeth taken out yesterday. They weren't wanting to fall out on their own, so the vet helped them along. He gave me the two teeth in a little vial. Everyone in the reception room laughed when I said, "Oh, look, Penny! You can put these under your pillow tonight!"

I'm sewing a bit this weekend for someone else, but hopefully it'll get me kick started. Miss Bernina needs to go in the shop for some cleaning and maintenance. Maybe I should do that before the end of the year. I have the smaller Bernina I can sew on while she's getting her dip and clip.

Year-to-Date Totals:

Busted: 176.25 yards
Purchased: 711.45 yards
Net YTD: <535.20> yards

Don't worry about the yardage--it's only about 27 bolts of fabric. Just think of it as salting fabric away for your retirement years. The way prices are going it won't be long before we see $10.00 a yard fabric, and then you'll be so glad that you have that stash to work from.

What did the tooth fairy leave for Miss Penny?

Congrats on not buying this week. Baby steps my dear! You can do it.

Penny could always have her own quilt, with matching doggie bed, that'd help a smidge, especially if she had ones for every season. ;)

Did the tooth fairy leave her 2 bags of treats or her own fabric stash?? lol
Have fun with busting your fabric.

My dog had a baby tooth that didn't want to fall out too. The vet said if it didn't fall out they would need to pull it so tarter didn't build up between the two teeth. It finally did fall out all by itself which is good and she doesn't look so goofy with two teeth in the same spot. I hope Penny got a visit from the tooth fairy.

An Vicky--you are invited to my house to sew! I will learn to cook cajun food, Penny and play with Ruby, and we will sew like FIENDS!! I think I may have to pull up my bootstraps and think about next year!
