Adjusting to Home

I got home Saturday evening from Louisiana, and Jane and Penny were there at the house waiting for me. Penny is a little snot! When Jane left, she stood whining at the door for 30 minutes. She wanted to go back to play with Skippy.

I'm wondering how my brother did today with his blood work and doctor's visit. Still have my fingers crossed that he won't need surgery again. I'll call him in a little while.

My internet is down at home. I called the company and it seems the whole area is down. Expected to be back up hopefully by Wednesday. We'll see. Meanwhile, it's weird to have coffee in the morning alone. I'm used to drinking it with everyone in blogland!

When everything is back up and running, I'll pull together a give-away. Be looking for that by the weekend.

Oh, and I was wide awake at 3:00 this morning. My body is still on Central time.

Welcome back! I've been wide awake since 4 since the time change, what's my problem? Haha Will keep your brother in my thoughts. Hugs.

Glad to hear you're back -- was worried yesterday when I didn't see anything from you in several locations! I just told Joey you're back and his tail wagged. Penny was just trying to let you know she was mad you left her!

Welcome back!

Sending well wishes to your brother.

Aren't those time changes frustrating? I think they were easier when we were younger. :-)

I keep wondering how Don is doing. Hopefully good! I also wondered how it felt to be back home. You probably feel like you need a vacation after the vacation. Aren't you glad Penny had fun while you were gone.

Welcome home. I've only driven through Louisiana, but it's beautiful. It's the humidity that would get the better of me. Hope your brother is doing better each day.

Welcome Home, Vicky!
Hope Don is feeling much better, and his tests come out favorably. He's still in my prayers.

Aren't our pets a hoot? Miss Pennys is a hoot and cute as can be, too. Eve

Hope Penny decided to give you a break, we are headed out in a few days for a week out of town and I know Spike will be in a big snit too! And I'm sending positive thoughts to your brother, I know its hard to be far away too when someone is ill.

Maxie is the one in my house that gets moody when I am gone! He gives me the cold shoulder for about 30 minutes before he expects me to hold him and let him sleep on my lap. lol

Glad you are home safe!
