Calgon, take me away!

I'm going to need to be taken away when I'm through sewing the giterdun, for sure! Ten more of these 20-patch blocks, and then I can move to the second block which should go together much faster. Can I get them all made by next weekend? I don't know, but I'm going to give it the old college try! I'm real ready to sew something else!

This weekend was quiet here. I only left the house once in three days, and that was to go to the market. Never thought I'd be looking forward to work, but I'm real ready to get out of here this morning!

Today is the 'inspection' of the condos. I was going to do all sorts of things around the house to get ready, but I vacuumed yesterday and that's it. I think they're only inspecting the new furnace/AC that was recently installed, but I don't know. I really don't think they are interested in how good a housekeeper I am. I certainly hope they don't care how much is stuffed in my garage. Hey, I can get my car in there! But I sure couldn't fit another one with all the boxes!

Wow, great progress on "giterdun". WooHoo!!!

You can get it done by next week end - yes you can! Every evening just a little sewing - not hours and hours - and it'll be done before you know it.

Go Vicky Go - get that dang thing outta there!

Vicky - those colours are looking so good together. This quilt is really going to be very pretty. Wish I was there to help you press seams while you sew.

Are you making a triple Irish Chain, Vicky? The book picture looks like the alternating block if I am looking at it correctly.

Nancy had sent TIC UFO along with the quilt tops recently and one of the Belles and I were playing with it last week at the meeting trying go figure out how it was headed. Guess that is why I asked. She is going to work with the partially done kit, not me!

The fabric colors are pretty but from your comments you have to force yourself to kep plugging on it?

You go girl! Treat yourself to a McDonald's parfait for breakfast--I know they'll make it up for you special!

You've made a lot of progress. I think this will be beautiful when you finish. Are you on a deadline? I think the law prevents them from taking an interest in your housekeeping, unless you were breaking the law with a bazillion cats or something.
