I was looking for a piece of fabric that I picked up last week at Ginger's, and figured it must be in the trunk of the car.
I knew I needed to clean the trunk out, but --
-- ELEVEN (11) bags of stuff. ELEVEN (11) bags from Ginger's.
I am miserably hopeless, and probably not worth the bullet it'd take to shoot me...........
Edit note: Okay, I took a picture last night after I emptied the bags. Mostly Christmas and Halloween. I'm just a kid at heart! :)

WOW!!!
LOL - love the name of the picture! If it makes you happy then don't regret it.
OMG Vicky! I think you really need a husband. I mean really--if you're going to be hiding stuff in your car trunk, you might as well have a good reason, like a husband! LOL! Do me a favor, though--please take some close-up photos of the dates of each of those receipts. I need to see if you went off your "diet" in May! LOL! Oh, and by the way--let me know when you're taking applications for someone to clean your car. I think I might need to apply. Finders keepers, right?
You had 11 bags of fabric from the quilt shop in the trunk of your car that you'd bought but not taken into the house? And if I remember correctly there is no one in the house you are hiding this from - unless it's the cat. How can you bear to leave it all in the car? You can't pet it and drool all over it when it's in the trunk of the car. I think we need to take your temperature, my dear, you must be ill!
Holy cow! I'm speechless! Did you leave anything for me at Ginger's? LOL I better get over there this weekend and make sure she has something left!
Vicky - finding all of those must have been like Christmas morning!!!
That's all I'm gonna say, well, except for ... Don't go "punishing" yourself over your purchases. Heck - who knows how long those bags have been in the car.
Grinning here in California's Central Coast.
Looks like you had a wonderful time at Gingers...ENJOY!
I really laughed out loud when I read this! You are not alone.
Ooooo I'd like to go through those bags, though. Don't feel bad, quilt fabric and supplies are works of art in themselves.
Vicky, You never fail to crack me up! Connie W
So dump out the bags and show us what you bought! Sounds like fun times!
May I help you lessen your guilt trip....by shopping in your trunk? LOL If you are not hiding those from a husband, are they perhaps tge bags you left because you were too tired from all the bags you DID carry in already?
Hmmm, maybe I should offer to clean your car for you. What a great find!
LOL Vicky LOL
You have to bring your purchases indoors to enjoy, not to hide in the car.
Remember, we are in this for the fun, right, and we will eventually use some fabrics too.
Show us what is in those bags, pleeeease :-)
PS - You could invite me over the big pond to stay and go through those bags and sew up a storm with you. I am a small person and some batting to sleep on and a quilt to cover me will be just fine ;-)
They do need to be stored somewhere - why not the trunk? You knew where to find the needed piece of fabric. I'm thinking I like this idea! LOL
LOL! I love this. I keep a BUNCH of stuff in my trunk so I probably shouldn't laugh as there's no telling what I might find if I were to clean it out!
So are you going to show us what's in those bags?
Heeee, you are to funny.
What a great discovery!
Have fun
deb
ROFLMAO ONLY YOU!!!
Seriously though Vicky, look at it this way...if you were ever carjacked and put in your trunk--you'd be sure to find something to pick your way out!!! LOL
Me again. I've been seriously giving this some thought during the last 24 hours. You know what? 11 bags of quilting stuff in your trunk is a WHOLE LOT BETTER than the couple bags of McDonalds on the floor of my back seat. (And yes, I do realize you have issues with McDonalds! LOL!) And the couple empty Starbucks cups. Etc. Jeez, am I a slob, or what? If you're not using that bullet, can you mail it up here?! LOL!
Um, for a small finder's fee, I'd be willing to come and clean the car for you -- say 1/2 of what is cleaned??
WOW! Great purchases!
All those were hiding in your trunk? Do you have room to put them away now that they are in the house? That as much as anything keeps me from overdoing it but I tend to subscribe to the theory that if I haul something else in, then something else has to go out.
Good for you dealing with those Chain blocks---I know it has been tough slogging for you but you are getting close to done if it just needs to be assembled.
