Simply Sophisticated Mystery BOM Club

Fall is near and it’s time to start a new project!

The Fat Quarter Shop has introduced Simply Sophisticated Mystery BOM that will start in October. If you haven’t already signed up, now is the time! Space is limited and you won’t want to miss out on this absolutely gorgeous quilt!

Simply Sophisticated has a total of 33 blocks plus setting triangles. The entire quilt will be made from the Harvest Home collection by Blackbird Designs, and includes traditional piecing and no applique.

When I first blogged about this new BOM, several folks expressed an interest in joining a Simply Sophisticated Club. The details have been worked out, and everyone is invited to join the Club! The rules are simple!

First, sign up for the Mystery BOM at The Fat Quarter Shop. The BOM will be shipped the third week of each month. To allow for mailing to different parts of the globe, your blocks for the month must be completed by the 25th of the following month. I will post a Club blog post each month a few days before that. When you have completed your monthly blocks, post a picture on your blog and leave a comment on the Club post here on my blog, or you can email me a picture if you are not a blogger. Your name will go then go into a monthly drawing. The Fat Quarter Shop has generously offered to donate a $25 gift certificate each month to the winner of the drawing! Remember, you must have a picture to show us of your completed blocks, either on your blog or by emailing a picture to me.

Please let me know if you want to join the Club! We’re going to have a ton of fun! And a HUGE thank you to Kimberly, Kevin and the adorable Miss Emma at The Fat Quarter Shop!

I didn't understand where we would post (on your blog, our blog, or a new blog) but really want to do this! If anything, it should make me do the blocks.

That wasn't very clear! LOL

Post a comment on the Club blog that I'll post here on my blog a few days before the 25th of the month. Tell us you've completed the blocks, and post a picture on your blog so that we can go admire your work. If you're not a blogger, just email me a picture of it to get in the drawing.

If that didn't clear it up, I'll try again! It's been a long day!

Count me in too. As everyone else has said, this will keep us on task. It's just the kind of "push" that I'll need each month. Thanks.

How fun, sign me up!!! Maybe this will give me the incentive to stay up to date on this one. I am way behind on the Designer Mystery BOM. :~)

Julia pointed out to me that you are organizing this BOM. I think it would be loads of fun to join in. I just posted on making my first two (!) blocks. Don't you just love the fabric?
