Man, what was I thinking? Don't answer that!
I have to make 576 HSTs. Moda recommended using the Triangles on a Roll for this pattern. They're all pinned and I'm sewing them - and sewing and sewing and sewing. I just renamed these HSTs for Dummies! It might have been easier to do them the old-fashioned way. I hope to at least get these done this weekend. The quilt top will be all downhill after that!

I told you they were fun! I did them the old-fashioned way.
Wow, I don't know if I'd have the stamina. I don't think I've done 500 of anything!
YIKES!!!!!
Good luck taking all that paper off.
Reminds me of my postage stamp quilt. that's a lotta little peices!
Vicky have you totally lost your mind????????? LOL Can't wait to see pics. ILY
YIKES!!!! I could never tackle something like that. It is going to be very yummy though. I can' wait to see pictures!
You have to make 576 of them! Oh man, you have way more patience than I do! Good luck. Those papers are fantastic to make those, but even with the papers, 576 is a heck of a lot of HSTS! And then taking all that paper off? You are a saint girlfriend!
I always think that those products are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Cut squares, cut then diagonally, sew together. Done! Just don't stretch the bias.
I am such a fan of triangles on a roll -- mainly because they come out perfectly every time, and it's much faster (for me) than doing them the old fashioned way. Just pop in a movie when you do the ripping!
I always say counting the triangles is like doing laundry and counting how many socks you have to match. Tearing the paper off is good TV work. Great job! you are almost there.
I don't mind using TOAR once in a while. They are good when I want to do mindless sewing.
