Please, No Laughing!

I just went in the garage to turn on the dryer. When the clothes started tumbling, something started playing "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" in the dryer. I opened the door and it stopped; closed it and it started again. So I stopped it, took everything out, checked pockets. Nothing. Started it up again, and the music started again. It sounds like one of those greeting cards you open up and music plays. After a while it stopped.

Don't laugh. It happened. I don't know. Maybe I need to go back to bed.

Ok, Vicky, I think you had one too many Dr. Pepper's at the applique group last night! Go back to bed!

I don't suppose you could video this just to prove to us that you're . . well that you're . . I'm sure it's nothing serious! :)

ROFLOL - oh my goodness you've lost it.

I'm sending the men - you know the ones I mean - they will bring a cute jacket that has adorable bows that go down your back.

you have to tell us when you figure it out.
maybe the card slid under the dryer?

Be sure to look through the peephole in your door before you answer a knock - it just may be the men in the white coats carrying a straight jacket.

If this were the 70's I'd swear you'd been dropping acid!

Vicky, I know I'm not a REAL doctor and just play one at work, but I'm pretty sure that what you're suffering from is simply a case of poking-buttons-in-the- middle-of-the-night withdrawals. What you need to do is just EMBRACE the experience. Breathe deep. Hum along with the dryer. BE the music. BE-ing the music is actually really good, because music doesn't quilt and doesn't need to buy fabric. See? Feel better now?

That is hilarious!! Were you doing laundry during, uuummmm....happy hour???

I had an uneven washer load today and when it started the spin cycle, there was a tremendous LOUD Bumping THUMPing in my normally quiet house... Both siamese panic, tear off in different directions, tails all puffy... they were sure something BIG and SCARY was in the washer/dryer closet, that wanted Out!

A little Sunday afternoon fun and games. :) I'd rather have my dryer sing to me!
